I’m 30 now…

I have been 30 for a few months now and I clearly have the urge to share some of my wisdom that I have learned from 30 awesome years of life.  Each year of my life has been pretty awesome in one way or another. So life is pretty awesome then. I could add and subtract all the good and bad days if I really took the time but I won’t. The good days and the hope for more good days in the future is good enough for me. While I don’t neglect the negative effects of over optimism I choose to share with others a healthy hope that everyone’s lives can be awesome as well.  It is valuable to find the balance that works for you and your health and happiness and try not to compare yourself to others too much. But don’t forget to treat your loved ones and your friends with kindness and respect. Tough love is part of love but that goes both ways so don’t take things personal. Everyone has something that they can teach you so never stop learning. It’s okay to be curious and to be ignorant...

The Little Things

It’s a time when Easter is almost upon us. A time that’s good for reflection and appreciation. A few things and thoughts that I would like to share with the world; having even one good friend is a blessing so never take for granted all of the different friendships we have acquired over time. I have been so lucky in my life to be surrounded by people with good hearts. Love is something that is hard to understand and put into words but it’s something that you know you can’t deny it when you see it  I love my friends and I love my family but the love that I have for the little things in life sometimes seems comparable. I cherish the small silences the little moments that seem unimportant to most others. I hope that today you all can find something to enjoy and appreciate. Easter is almost here in Michigan and it’s snowing today. Let me know how your weather is.

Sundays

Sundays are usually a good day for me to relax and reset myself for the upcoming week. I think it’s good for everybody to create a schedule for themselves that helps them plan out and prepare for their days or weeks ahead. Sundays are good days for light exercises and doing any kind of grocery shopping to prepare meals for the week ahead. It’s good to have lists and to make sure you’re checking off tasks you need to accomplish. I hope everyone is able to do something that they enjoy today. Here the weather is cold so stay warm and have a blessed and beautiful Sunday and have a great week.

Introducing me. And yourself.

Hello everyone would like to introduce myself as I am new to all this. I’m 29 years old. I love in America. I was paralyzed in a car accident when I was 17 during my senior year of high school. I love to stay home and watch movies or tv shows. I am a huge anime nerd. I also have a passion for video games and drawing stuff. Today is the day after Valentine’s Day of February 2024. Hopefully you all will enjoy following me on this journey, and I can share with you what it’s like to be paralyzed and living life in a wheelchair.  If you are also in a wheelchair, feel free to follow and share comments with your experiences. You don’t have to be in a wheelchair to enjoy these blogs if you want feel free to comment or share with me, your favorite movies or TV shows or animes that you like to watch.

Welcome

Welcome to my first attempt at a blog post. I’m new to this so try not to judge me to harshly as I try out this thing.  I’m not really sure what this page is going to be about. I do know that I have a spinal cord injury and I would like to share some of my journey being paralyzed and in a wheelchair with the world. There is a lot the world could learn from someone like me so I’ll try and be as genuine and helpful to the world as possible. If you’re in the lovely state of Michigan this will feel local to you but of course the rest of the world is welcome here. If you have a spinal cord injury and want to share with me some of your stories and experiences feel free to share anytime.   Thank you for taking time to read this   Stay tuned for future posts.
